TitanFallがオープニングムービー後に起動しなかったのですが、フォーラムでの議論から解決に至ったので解決法を紹介。
海外の人も困っていそうなので、日英両方で書いてみました。
まずは英語から。
I’ve found a solution for “Titanfall.exe has stopped working” problem in the forum. Here is what I did (added some original solution which is not presented in the forum).
- The cause seems to be the Origin overlay, so disable Origin overlay by:
Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game > Uncheck Origin In Game - Also, some community manager suggested to launch the game in “safe mode” (dunno what that means) by:
Right click Titan fall in you Origin “MY GAMES” > GAME PROPERTIES > input the following to command line
“-safe” - Further, I added following in the same command line
“-novid +m_rawinput 1 -windowed -noborder +cl_showfps 1”
which means…
-novid : no opening movie
+m_rawinput 1 : don’t apply OS level mouse setting
-windowed -noborder : disable window frame
+cl_showfps 1 : show fps!
With all those put together, Titanfall started to work very fine on my PC.
My PC being:
- Win7 Pro 64bit
- Intel core i7 860 @2.8Ghz
- GTX 680 2GB
- 8GB DDR-1600

症状
- オープニングロゴ(EAとRespawn Entertainment)が表示された後、問答無用でアラートもなしに強制終了する。
- Windowsのダイアログには”Titanfall.exe has stopped working”、タスクバーエリアのnVidiaのコントロールパネルからは、ドライバがクラッシュしたことが通知され、復帰しました的なメッセージが出る。
対処法
- Originのインゲームオーバーレイが原因っぽいので、これをオフにする。
Origin (左上)> アプリケーション設定 ＞ Origin in Game ＞ 「Origin in Gameを有効にする」 をオフ - 加えて、Titanfallをセーフモードで実行
マイゲーム＞Titanfallを右クリック＞ゲームプロパティ＞「コマンドラインの引数」に、 「-safe」を入力。 - さらに、これはほぼ影響ないかと思われますが、あると便利なので以下をコマンドラインに入力。
“-novid +m_rawinput 1 -windowed -noborder +cl_showfps 1”
意味は、
-novid : オープニングムービーなし
+m_rawinput 1 : OSのマウス設定を読み込まない
-windowed -noborder : ウィンドウ枠を表示しない
+cl_showfps 1 : フレームレートを表示 （大事！）
PC環境
- Win7 Pro 64bit
- Intel core i7 860 @2.8Ghz
- GTX 680 2GB
- 8GB DDR-1600
これで少なくとも私はプレイできるようになりましたが、フォーラムを見ている限り、微妙なところで症状が違うパターンもあるみたいなので、万能薬にはならないかもしれません。
いずれにせよ、開発から正式なHot Fixは欲しいところです。
